Amazing Website That Implemented My Idea

I have to give thanks to Angry Voter 2.  She found this website that contains everything I wanted for this blog.  Take notice of the top menu. Topics, Trends to Watch, States, Events, News Room, Initiatives… its all there.  I’m going to continue with this site and try to centralize information about voter fraud.

Ohio Voting Reps store Voting Machines in Their Own Homes

Another one By Alias:

Not the pillowfight type, but rather sleepovers in which elections workers in 23 of Ohio’s 88 counties keep voting machines stored in their homes, workplaces or cars shortly before election day to reduce the cost and hassle of getting them to polling places.

The National Campaign for Fair Elections

The National Campaign for Fair Elections is an Initiative of the Voting Rights Project of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
The National Campaign for Fair Elections is an Initiative of the Voting Rights Project of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.

The goal of the National Campaign is to foster a national movement committed to ensuring that all voters have an equal opportunity to cast a meaningful ballot. To that end, NCFFE leads Election Protection – the nation’s largest non-partisan voter protection coalition including the Lawyers’ Committee, the National Bar Association, the NAACP, and the People for the American Way Foundation. Through our hotline and a dedicated army of volunteers we help tens of thousands of voters access the polls and overcome the obstacles to the ballot box.

Black Box Voting

Black Box Voting

Black Box Voting

Political & campaign operations in 2008 will spend over $1 billion to put desired candidates in power. Up against this: Patriots operating on shoestrings. Show us you place a value on voting rights by supporting election watchdog organizations.

In the end, this isn’t about getting your favorite presidential candidate elected. This is about more permanent solutions: getting durable, ongoing citizen-based controls to oversee all elections. Elections ultimately control your daily life: your property rights, roads, the public safety, the justice system, and ultimately, the economy, your freedom, and your health…

Research In Progress… Help Out with this one Google Search!

I wanted to post a message informing of my current progress.  I have been contacting software professionals to discuss the idea of a blog or even social networking site created to combat Voter Fraud.   I want to put something up quick and jump into things, but at the same time I want to make the correct decisions.  In addition, I don’t want to reinvent the wheel.  I have had some responses detailing other sites and organizations that are attacking Voter Fraud as well.  I don’t see these sites as competitive entities.  We are fighting for the same thing and all should join forces.  I understand that the legitimacy of organizations becomes a question.  I think centralizing contact information for places like these would be a huge, first start.  Maybe this has been done already.  Please if you have five minutes, do a Google search to help find these organizations.  You need only think of a good search term like “anti voter fraud” or “against voter fraud” or “voter rights”, use the term in the Google Search Engine, and post back here a link to any organization or organizations that you can find.  It is very easy.  In addition Google has site that, instead of searching for a term, provides statistics and demographics about search terms.  This information can be specified to areas of the US.  In addition to the search for voter rights websites,  you can do a search for “Voter Fraud” and related categories.  Here is an example of the website in use:

http://www.google.com/insights/search/#cat&q=voter+fraud&cmpt=q&date&clp&geo=US

Notice the interesting results that immediately come out!   The purpose of this search would be to find the demographics for people interested in Voter Fraud.  It might be best to target this website for that area first.  Check out the posted comments and please help out!

Day 1: Voter Rights – Proof of Concept

This website is less then a day old and I have received some positive comments and what I would consider respectable traffic.  I am in the process of collaborating with people in order to organize this site better and link up with other bipartisan voter rights movements.  It is my intention to bring more traffic and encourage people to participate.  Please post comments and thoughts.  If you find a good story please submit through the Contribute section.  The main discussion is happening under the comment section for the post “Eliminate Voter Fraud” on this Home Page.  I’m open to constructive criticism, suggestions, and creative thinking.  Please either post a message or go to “Contribute” get your message heard!

Eliminate Voter Fraud

Voter Fraud contributes to one of the biggest fears for this upcoming election.  How do we prevent it?  Build a forum of people and information that can not be ignored.  I have contributed money to movements that look like they are legitimately trying to tackle this issue.  I have asked, “In addition to my money, how can I help solve this issue?  I desperately want to help.”  I have gotten no responses.  I’m fed up.  I want to organize a movement.  Anyone can contribute, anyone can help.  I want a well organized collection of names of specific people and government representatives who are responsible for fraud proliferation.  Lets weed out the cockroaches.  We need evidence, we need organization, and we need help.  With a massive movement the corrupt might start to worry.  I wanted to contribute, so this is how I can.  I’m not looking for anyone to donate money.  I’m looking for people contribute their time and effort, no matter how small to help eliminate voter fraud.  From website organization, design, and construction to even a simple a google search, all is appreciated.  Lets work with the principle that massive manpower = results.  There are known ways of making sites popular.  Search Engine Optimization, proper website construction, advertising.  I have a number of tutorials on how to get this a popular site.  I need help though.  Join in to help out with our cause!  No one in power will do it.

Even if a politician wanted to do something, this is an uphill battle and trying to get anything done in Congress is like “Herding Cats”.   This really isn’t a “one sided” issue.  The only people who benefit from the broken system are, by definition, the minority.  I’m looking to give voice to the majority.  I just want competency and accountability.  Think of how many people want to eliminate voter fraud regardless of party.  I think a properly functioning voter system is SO IMPORTANT.  The fact that our nation still has a broken voter system makes me really, really frustrated.  Mexico’s voter system is better than ours.  I say fix the system and let the politicians fend for themselves.  It seems though, that neither side to want to fix the problem.  Lets face it, anyone in office has found some way to either deal with or exploit the problem, so why spend resources trying to fight battle that is completely uphill anyway?   I know it’s a crazy idea to try to get something done, but I thought that the small chance if it catching on would be worth the little effort. I’m trying to recruit people to help.  Anyone that can do a Google search can help out.  I want to list names of people accountable, document claims, research facts, and build a community to spread this universal cause.  I want a database of LEGITIMATE voters who’s right to vote is being stripped away.  I want to weed out illegal voter accounts.  Also I want a large number of contributors so we may hold some sway.  If you get a chance, maybe add some stories and articles.  Do a Google search.  Post a link.  Pass the site along to someone who might care.  Politicians don’t.  I think it is time that people started doing something about it.
